Georgina Peard

I am a personal development facilitator, yoga teacher, massage therapist, intuitive bodyworker and Heart IQ Circle Coach. People tell me they enjoy my energy, authenticity, sensitivity, depth and creative playfulness.

I support men and women to come home to themselves - to relax, get present and feel more. I teach practical skills that empower people to reveal their innate balance, joy and authenticity and open up to their full potential in the world.

Inspired by yoga, massage, shamanism, energy-based healing bodywork and Heart IQ, my work is particularly valued by those seeking to know themselves better and live more joyfully; people seeking clarity and ease during transitions or challenging circumstances in life, or learning to navigate times of stress, anxiety, burn-out and feeling stuck or lost.

We do this through the experience of conscious movement and breath, deep relaxation, meditation, massage, sound, subtle energy, self-enquiry, heart IQ small group work and sharing

Based at Elaneha in Rolle, Switzerland, I propose individual one-to-one sessions, weekly group classes, workshops, and retreats, and share my thoughts and experiences through the Be Bright Blog.

Some more about me and my training

Originally from Ireland, Switzerland has been my home since 2000. Trekking, mountain biking, adventure travel and spending time in nature have been my passions, and yoga is a way of life. My work and interests have led me to experience many different parts of the world, peoples, and philosophies of life and these have deeply touched me. My personal journey has led me to an ongoing process of being inspired, healed and opened through yoga, shamanism, body work, Heart IQ and heart-centred community.

I am a holistic massage therapist, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) with the International Yoga Alliance, a Yoga Nidra Facilitator with the Yoga Nidra Network, and Heart IQ Certified Practitioner and Circle Coach. I also hold a Honours Bachelor Degree in nature-based recreation management and a Masters in International Environment and Development and I spent 15 years working internationally on nature conservation, national park management and social equity. I was even a white-water rafting guide for a few years!! Sharing my time between yoga, massage and nature conservation for a number of years, in 2012 I decided to follow my heart and dedicate my time completely to bodywork, personal and spiritual development.

My personal path has led me through times of exhaustion and burn-out, feeling lost, anxious, low on self-confidence, depressed and disconnected. It is this path that has allowed me to awaken to my heart and learn to follow my inner wisdom. The path continues.

I have been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2009. I am indebted to my first teacher Jessica Magnin at O2 Yoga, who guided and inspired me through the 14 months of transformational teacher training. I have continued to study with many great teachers including Judith Hanson LasaterSeane CornSuzanne Sterling, Hala Khouri, Rod Stryker, Uma Dunsmore-TuliMartin Kirk, Jean Lechim and Peter Clifford. I am an Experienced Registered Yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) with over 1000 hours of teaching. I am certified by Judith Hanson Lasater as an Advanced Relax and Renew(R) Trainer in Restorative Yoga; a Yoga Nidra Facilitator in Total Yoga Nidra by Uma Dinsmore-Tuli; Yoga for Kids by Rainbow Kids Yoga; and completed leadership training for 'Off the Mat, Into the World'

Massage and Healing Bodywork

My massage journey started with basic training in 2004 and then a massage therapy diploma in 2010 under the guidance and inspiration of Cathy Tourinan at Ecovie. Since then I have continued my training with Louka Leppard, in floor-based Tula massage, François Nadler, in massage therapy, and with Arno L'Hermitte and Itzhak Helman of the Sunshine Network in Traditional Thai Yoga Massage. I am also a certified practitioner in Reiki I and II. I have completed 300 hours training in Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology and Pathology with Dr. Jean-Yves Henry, to be recognised by ASCA (complimentary insurance cover). I have trained in Shamanic healing practices with Martin Duffy, Andrew Barnes, Araminta Barbour and Estera Saraswati.

Heart IQ

Since 2013 I have been training and following personal mentorship with Christian Pankhurst in the Heart IQ Method and am the first certified Heart IQ Circle Coach in Suisse Romande. I have participated in numerous 3.5 day and 7 day Heart IQ Experience Retreats for my own personal development, as well as completing Small Group Leadership and Advanced Large Group Facilitator Trainings. I am an active member of the Heart IQ Network and am passionate about sharing this practice with you.

I am passionate about becoming all that I am and living my purpose. I am dedicated to continously learning, evolving and opening up to my potential. This is a never-ending joyful journey, a daily practice and a choice in every moment. It is only in this way that I can serve and support others.

In combining all my experiences and training, I aim to help people realize their full potential and find a sense of well-being, inner peace, compassion, authenticity, connection and purpose in their daily lives.

Through stillness we can awaken. Through embodied awareness we can open our hearts to the world and the world opens to us.
